When to begin preparation
When to begin UCAT preparation is a difficult question and one that is very individual. Getting started early means reducing the stress/workload. The UCAT can change from year to year but the changes are not very significant.
You may choose to purchase a package that begins from the moment of purchase until the UCAT exam. On the flipside, of course, cost is an issue. We offer students access to online materials until the next UCAT date. (For example, if you purchased a package now, you would get access until the UCAT test date at the end of September). After that, to continue to access materials, you would need to re-enrol. MedEntry provides students who have done MedEntry in the previous year a Last Year's Student Discount.
There are three packages: Essential, Premium and Comprehensive. All three packages have the training platform and access to the MedEntry app (iOS and Android). The training platform has an interactive curriculum with video guides, skills trainers, 20,000 UCAT questions, 40+ subtest mocks, 20+ exams and an interactive study planner.
The main difference between the Essential and Premium package is the UCAT workshop included in the Premium. The workshop is personally run by Dr Ray and is the most popular of all MedEntry's services. The Premium Package is important to do at some stage as the workshop offers an excellent run-down of techniques, is motivational and provides mini mocks, analysis and discussion.
With the Comprehensive package, you get everything that is in the Premium package plus two additional services:
One-on-One Tutoring: Ten one-hour sessions (additional sessions can be purchased if required). These are on line sessions.
